Easel isn't treated with anything if you'd like stained painted let me know we will try to do dark stained and medium light stain or paint with a good paint that will last ! I can fix it then post and message you when it's ready to be purchased ! 19 inches tall bottom piece that holds set is 12 inches wide the material is 2 by 2 wood not thin flimsy wood very sturdy and also has a piece of leather to hold the back piece in place easel also is foldable
